Dennis, I got this from E-bay, my dad seems to think this is around 1960 of Fence Houses station. I donated a copy of this to the Fence Houses book last year. Regards Andrew

The back is equally interesting with a Fence Houses 1922 postmark and the message suggests it was written by a then resident of Station Avenue. Regards Geoff Robinson

Another excellent photo that has been found and this is probably better than most for its detail. Picture of a Deltic taken in the old Station circa 1960s (Mid) when passengers were being bused from Durham to board trains to London (etc) due to repair work on the main line which closed it completely.
