The one opposite Lambton 6th pit was called Lumley brick works, Lady Scarbourgh I think part owned this or was a major share holder. The other was Lambton brick factory near Lambton D pit. But I am interested in it's location. Grid references, in historical books, put it as being near Lambton D pit and the coke works, on the East of the Leamside line. Others suggest it was on the opposite side of the road from Lambton 6th pit. Can you help? Regards Stan Hi
