I would just like to say a big thank you, to one and all who attended the charity Rock N Roll night. I must have had a great time as I cannot remember much about it.
I can remember the two great singers Tremblin Trev and Amy Laureen who sang totally free of charge. I thought the Rock n Roll Disco was brilliant, there again I am a bit bias.
A big thank you should go to the wonderful lady who collected for the raffle and also went around again and squeezed more money out of the audience using a large tin tray.(it was passed around not used as a weapon)
We raised a grand total of £524.00 Eric Hill Secretary of the Burnside made the amount up to £550.00 what a result.
I have sent a cheque off to the Motor Neurone Society where I am sure it will be put to good use.
Just to remind readers the whole idea for this bash was to celebrate the life of Carole Taylor(nee Payton) who sadly died this year with Motor Nueron disease.
Carole was a lovely lady full of fun and a beautiful smile; she will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
