Development Control deals with Planning applications, appeals and
enforcement issues.
BUILDING CONTROL
Building Control deals with Building Control applications, other functions
include street naming and numbering, demolitions, safety of sports grounds
and dangerous structures.
Planning Implementation covers Urban Design, Regeneration, Landscape and
Reclamation, Countryside and Conservation (built heritage).
Planning Policy deals with strategic issues including the Unitary Development
Plan (UDP), Local Development Framework (LDF), Development Plan Documents
(DPD) and associated Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD).
